What does a student usually do in middle school?

It totally depends on an individual’s acumen. Forming nice oratory and thinking skills could be the starting point of a holistic personality development. VNAND helps in Scribbles Junior Program that improves reading, speaking, and writing skills of children.

What is Scribbles? How can one join this program at VNAND?

Scribbles Junior and Senior is a structured Creative Writing Program that improves your grammar, rectifies your sentence construction and develops thinking skills to enable you to pen your thoughts creatively on paper. Good command over English will eventually help your child write better answers in school and perform well in English. This program is also available on Skype.

What is Knowledge Enhancement Program at VNAND?

KEP is a non-structured program that has 3 parts to it. First, an audiovisual element like a short clip, movie or documentary that propels them to assimilate information about it; Second where they are asked to use summarize it and third where the correction teaches them specific vocabulary while building their parts of speech.

What is the best time for children to join Scribbles and KEP?

There is no specific age for learning. The year of Grades VI-VIII is a good time to increase vocabulary and learn the Standard English Conventions for future use. These are weekend classes for one hour each. For Skype students, it is conducted during the week days.

What courses should one take in high school?

Take college-prep courses like honors, AP, IB, HS, and college dual enrollment), focusing on the core academics: English, math, science, history, and world languages. Besides if you feel your English is not up to the mark, then you must enroll for the Scribbles program with VNAND.

Most celebrities say Grades are not important. Why?

Only after you imbibe the learning from a particular program and apply it effectively in life that Grades are not asked. But you need to focus on your grades as your high school transcript is considered one of the most important parts of your college application, and good grades will distinguish you from many other applicants.

How do I find my guidance counselor?

A mentor appears when a student is ready. If you want direction in life, write to us and avail the first complimentary Skype or in a personal counseling session. Thereafter, you could decide to use the services monthly or annually. Getting to know your guidance counselor early in your high school career makes it easier to talk about your plans for high school, college, and career.

What is PSAT?

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a standardized test administered by the College Board and co-sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in the United States. Approximately 3.5 million students take the PSAT/NMSQT each year. Preliminary SAT (PSAT) is a test designed to help students practice for the SAT. It is also used to determine eligibility for scholarships awarded by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

How will VNAND help in preparing for PSAT?

While the school curriculum for Mathematics can take care of the Quant component, we at VNAND look into polishing the specific verbal requirements of the PSAT. The coaching is available in group, individual and on Skype.

What tests does one take in Class XI?

The CSS/Financial Aid Profile is an online aid application used by some 300 colleges and scholarship providers. It is administered by the College Board, the organization behind the SAT and other standardized tests. The CSS Profile requires much more financial information than the FAFSA. We help you with filling the complete CSS Profile.

What is the BTT – Self Discovery Program?

It is a program that helps in diving into one’s own self and finding out the answers that can alter your whole life. It is ideally a thirty-hour program but one can choose according to one’s needs.
